The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the retail level, including staffing, training, scheduling, buying, visual merchandising, cash management, inventory management, and compliance adherence. This role requires competence in a fast-paced environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively interact with patients and other members of the Team to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience for our clientele. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Operations.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the cannabis industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance, focusing on ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant environment for cannabis cultivation, production, and dispensaries. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative measures to maintain optimal operations across all facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and irrigation systems in both cultivation and dispensary environments.
Perform repairs and troubleshooting on equipment such as grow lights, climate control systems, point-of-sale systems, and security systems.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems for cultivation areas and dispensaries.
Escort outside contractors on-site, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Monitor ongoing projects, providing updates and quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and inventory levels across all locations.
Collaborate with cultivation, production, and dispensary teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets operational goals.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, including those specific to cannabis operations.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations in cultivation and dispensary environments to minimize downtime.
Participate in preventative maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas and throughout the facilities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in maintenance, electrical, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in maintenance, ideally in the agricultural or retail sectors.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general mechanical repair.
Familiarity with cannabis cultivation, production processes, and retail dispensary operations is a plus.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions (e.g., temperature variations, humidity).
Standing, bending, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
